The Chamber of Commerce and Spirit of Athens (SOA) have teamed up to offer the hottest shopping events of the year.  Christmas Open House will begin as businesses open on Saturday morning, November 22, and continue at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, November 23.  Sponsors will be identified by a unique window sign provided by the Chamber & Spirit Of Athens.

Each Christmas Open House sponsor's tickets will be entered in the grand prize drawing on the courthouse square at 5:00 P.M. on Sunday. 
Winners of the drawings will not have to be present to win.

To make the days merry and bright, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be present from 1-5 on Saturday November 22nd and 2-4 on Sunday November 23rd. Enjoy live entertainment around the Athens-Limestone County courthouse square.

Carriage rides by River City Carriages will also be providing tours from the courthouse to the Beaty Historic District. Rides are free for children 5 and under, ages 5-12 are $5 and adults can ride for $10. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Although the festivities will be held downtown, there are a number of Athens’ businesses offering special savings, door prizes, and unique holiday gifts.
