Athens High School Greenhouse is now open Monday – Friday 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, Saturdays 9 AM to 2:00 PM. The greenhouse has started their Spring Plant Sale to include; bedding plants, vegetables, hanging baskets and 1-gallon tomatoes.

Saturday, May 17 - MTM Corporation presents the 4th Annual Unsung Hero Scholarship Fund awards banquet on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 6 p.m. The location is at Grace Missionary Baptist Church where the Pastor is Willie Byrd. The banquet is free to the public! We want your support by attending and wishing these deserving Unsung Heroes of Athens/Limestone County well and reminding them to continue their educational endeavors. Footlights Community Theater will presenting the Rogers and Hammerstein classic The King and I at Julian Newman Elementary on Thursday June 5th at 7pm, Friday June 6th at 7pm,
Saturday June 7th at 2pm and 7pm, and Sunday June 8th at 2pm and 7pm. Tickets will go on sale May 1st and can be purchased online at www.footlightstheater.com  or seats can be reserved by emailing footlightstheater@yahoo.com
